They provide food and shelter to families in urgent need, help underserved youth blaze trails to post-secondary education and careers, and prepare neighborhoods to adapt to a changing climate. They tackle persistent issues like education inequities and high housing costs, while responding swiftly to of-the-moment challenges, like inflation and learning loss. In doing all this and so much more, our community partners are making a profound difference in people’s lives.
Give with Liberty
Through Give with Liberty, 10,493 Liberty Mutual employees across the U.S. and Canada donated over $14.7M (USD) to more than 6,000 organizations. Donations to qualified nonprofits received a 100% match from Liberty Mutual with no upper limit to the amount given. There is also no limit to the number of nonprofits employees can donate to and all administrative costs are paid by Liberty Mutual.
Serve with Liberty
Serve with Liberty, our annual days of service, took place globally in May 2023. To determine nonprofit partners, employees recommend projects in their local communities. In 2023, more than 16,500 employees served more than 66,000 hours with organizations.
In Canada, employees coast-to-coast volunteered with a variety of organizations to help food banks, sort donations and clean up their communities.
Volunteer with Liberty
To encourage volunteering through Volunteer with Liberty, all employees who volunteer and track their time are eligible to win one of 2,200 mini-grants, worth $500 each. These can be donated to qualified nonprofit organizations of their choice.
