Unclaimed property notice
“Unclaimed property” is personal property, such as a cheque, that is presumed to have been abandoned by its owner. Certain provinces have established regulatory regimes relating to unclaimed property that requires holders of the property, such as Liberty Mutual Canada, the registered business name of the Canadian Branch of the Liberty Mutual Insurance Company (‘Liberty’) to make reasonable efforts to locate the owners of the property.
If you believe you or someone upon whose behalf you are acting is entitled to unclaimed property which Liberty may be holding, please present your request in writing to us at the address noted below along with true copies of any supporting documentation. Please note that we may require you to provide personal identification.
